Audition Music

Who are we?

Junior Strings – Directed by Lisa Fritz
A String Orchestra consisting of beginning violin, viola, cello, and bass
Recommended ages:  Any age through 8th grade with at least one year of playing experience.

Rehearsals: Thursday evenings from 6:50 to 8:00pm in the COS Music Building (Choir Room)

Junior Symphony – Directed by Jeff Fritz
A Symphonic Orchestra consisting of intermediate level strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion
Recommended ages:  6th through 10th grade with at least two years of playing experience.

Rehearsals: Thursday evenings from 6 to 8pm in the COS Music Building (Band Room)

College of the Sequoias Symphony – Directed by Michael Tackett

A Symphonic Orchestra consisting of the most advanced level strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion players in Tulare County that meet every Monday for a two hour evening rehearsal.
Recommended ages:  10th through college age with at least four years of playing experience. Younger players may audition, but are required to perform an audition on music provided by Mr. Fritz.

Rehearsals: Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the COS Music Building (Band Room)
